Youth Verses: Free art-based workshops for youth ages 14-19
Youth Verses is a series of three cost-free workshops for youth (ages 14-19) who identify as artists over the platform Zoom. The intent of these workshops is to have conversations about ways to be creative while struggling with mental health by providing a collaborative and safe space where youth are supported and inspired to create visual and/or performance art to be displayed in a virtual showcase.
Workshops: Noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, June 6 and June 13
Showcase: 7 – 9 p.m., Friday, June 19

Get Youth Working! Program
The Program offers Employment Counselling, Job Entry Skills, Certificate Training, Paid Work Experience, Mentoring and Post Job Placement Support to eligible youth 17-29 years of age. You can check out the elibility criteria and the job board at getyouthworking.ca
Sprouting Youth Gardeners
Sprouting Youth Gardeners is a project that provides youth with plant starts so they can garden from home. This project is geared for youth who are facing obstacles in accessing healthy and locally grown food. Click here to apply, and received free seedlings to plant at home!
Stigma Free COVID-19 Youth Wellness Toolkit
This website is full of tools, videos, activities, quizzes and more, to help you out during the pandemic. Those in grade 7-12 can find resources on the teen page, while others in grades 4-6 can check out the youth page. They even have sections for parents and teachers, if you think that they’re the ones needing support right now 😉
