Full O' Beans Preschool & Full-Time Care

Full o’Beans Preschool, operating since September 2013, is one of the programs for families and children at Saanich Neighbourhood Place. Our central location in the Gorge/Tillicum area of Victoria BC is easy to get to by bus, bike, car or even by foot.

Our child-centred, ‘learn through play’ programs offer:

Our mission is to provide high quality, accessible early learning and care experiences in a safe, nurturing environment. At this time, we have part- time preschool programs for children between 3 and 5 years old.

'Flex' Program:

Our ‘Flex’ program offers families the option to customize their preschool experience by choosing the days that work best for them with a 4 hour morning session. The children will enjoy free-play, art, stories and music, gym days, library visits, and outdoor time. This session has a strong emphasis on getting the children outside, and features as much as 2 hours each day out of doors, in our playground or in the ‘woods’ behind our location. Morning snack is included, lunches are sent from home. Open to 3-5 year olds, this 9am – 1pm program makes  a nice transition to the longer Kindergarten day.

Children must be 3yrs by September 1st to register in the Flex program.

'Classic' Program:

A traditional preschool setting, this 2.5 hour program offers a classic ‘Mon/Weds/Fri’ or ‘Tues/Thurs’ program schedule.

Free-play indoors and out, art and stories, gym days and library visits… all of this and more make a fun, engaging program for your 3-5 year-olds. Morning snacks are included.

All programs run from 9:00 am – 11.30 am. This shorter session often serves as an easy introduction to ‘school’ for children.

Children must be 3 yrs by December 31 to register in the Classic program.

Both our 2.5 and 4 hour programs are accessible programs, and we work with families to include children who need extra supports to attend preschool.

Saanich Neighbourhood Place and Full o’Beans Preschool will be opening full-time childcare programs soon. New spaces will include 25 full-time all day programming for children ages 3-5  years at Full o’Beans Full-time. And 24 Infant and Toddler Care spaces at the Beansprouts Infant and Toddler Care.
