Building Emotionally Healthy Kids
A child’s brain is directly shaped by the daily interactions they have with their parents. Emotional well-being, self-regulation, social skills, and the ability to learn are all influenced by the everyday give and take that occurs between parents and children. In this session, we will explore parenting strategies that support children’s emotional and social development.
Tips for Parenting an Anxious Child
Supporting an anxious child to explore the world and manage big fears can be quite challenging. In this session, we will learn about early childhood anxiety and discuss strategies for parents wanting to help their child to face their fears and expand their comfort zone.
Enhancing the Parent-Child Relationships
Many things can get in the way of our relationship with our children. Stress, behavioural challenges, developmental concerns, and unexpected events can all impact our ability to connect and respond in the ways that we would like. In this session, we will highlight ways that parents can refocus on the parent-child relationship to promote healthier and happier children.
